Elaine M. Reich is a trusts and estates partner of Graubard Miller and is the firm’s trusts and estates coordinator. She joined the firm as an associate in 1981 and has been a partner since 1986.

Ms. Reich has extensive experience in all aspects of trusts and estate practice, with special emphasis on complex trusts and estates litigation. She also serves as appellate counsel on general litigations and has represented the New York State Assembly in redistricting matters. Ms. Reich has been appointed on many occasions to serve the New York Surrogate’s and Supreme Courts as guardian-ad-litem, Court Evaluator and Court Examiner. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association Trust and Estate’s Law Section, as well as of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Ms. Reich received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from The City University of New York at Queens College in 1976 and a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School in 1979, where she served as a member of the Law Review and received the Faculty Prize for academic excellence. Ms. Reich holds American Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Procedure, Personal Property, Real Property and Torts. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York. She is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
